Dr. Levi and Minister Sheila Webb are founders, president and vice president of Levi Webb Ministries (Covenant Brit Ministries), as well as senior pastor and minister, respectively, of Brit Congregation. Dr. Levi and Sheila were saved in 1976 and were called into ministry almost immediate after their conversion. They have operated in full-time ministry since 1983 and started Brit Congregation (formerly known as Covenant Christian Center) in 1985.

Since committing his life to God Almighty, Dr. Webb has received divine knowledge and revelation of God’s Word for the development and growth of God’s people, specifically leaders.  Dr. Webb made a commitment to God to obey and preach the Word of God to the people He sends to the congregation.  Dr. Webb teaches how to deal with the daily problems of life, making the Word of God–through faith–the focus.  That commitment led him to obey the Word by keeping Passover once a year on the 14th of Nissan (falls in March/April) in 1986 while still worshiping on Sundays.  Somewhere around 1987, a member of the church came to Dr. Webb and asked him the which day is the Sabbath.  His response was Saturday.  He also told them the traditional answer:  We keep Sunday because Christ (Messiah) rose from the dead on Sunday.  The Holy Spirit descended on a Sunday (Pentecost), and such.  That person wanted a better answer, so he told them he would study the subject and give a better answer later.  This took him on a three year journey studying the Bible and Church history to get the answer.

In 1990 Dr. Webb was convicted by God to take his congregation from “Sunday” worship to honoring his Heavenly Father through the Grace of God by faith and love, honoring the Father God on the literal day He commanded us to keep, call the Sabbath–Friday evening through Saturday evening or sundown.

The Covenant family has always considered themselves (even when worshiping on Sundays) to be a Bible believing congregation.  We believe in walking in truth in practical ways in light of Messiah’s life, death, and resurrection. This produced a new High Priest (Messiah), new priesthood (Believers) and new sacrificial system (the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world).  Dr. Webb did not fully understand that walking in truth would lead him in unfamiliar territory, walking in the Body of Messiah’s biblical or Jewish roots in our Jewish Messiah.

Pastor Sheila Webb has also been called of God into ministry to lead women and making a difference in their lives, as she shares practical and spiritual wisdom in seminars geared specifically toward women, both at home and abroad.  She also supports the work and vision, which God has given to her husband, as she works side-by-side with him in a full-time capacity.  In additional, she has received her Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Covenant Bible College, located in Baltimore, Maryland.

As an author, musician, and psalmist, Dr. Levi Webb, along with his wife, Lady Sheila Webb, has a vision to teach God’s Word with the help of the Holy Spirit, and make it a reality in the lives of people.  A part of their vision includes teaching Revelation, Faith, Battle of the Mind, Singles, Men’s & women’s, Family, Emotional Healing, Marriage, Leadership and various other seminars.  Their ultimate desire is to see people live and obey God’s Word so that it (the Word) can be made alive to them.

In all they do, they strive for an excellent spirit, while lifting up a standard for the King.
